Foreign Investors’ Fees In’s Korea Soar On Increased Stock Trading

Foreign investors’ commission fee payments in South Korea’s financial markets soared 40.9 per cent in the first 10 months of the year from a year earlier, helped by their increased trade in local bourses, the nation’s central bank said Wednesday.

NEW YORK, Nov 28 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday and the price of oil fell $1.35 a barrel, while the dollar posted sharp losses. Bond prices were mostly higher and platinum futures rose above $1,000 an ounce for the first time since March 1980.
