NYSE’s $10.2 billion bid for Euronext heats up competition with Nasdaq
The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. are racing to become the world’s first transatlantic stock trading center. It’ll be an expensive, time-consuming proposition and a fair amount of risk for stock exchanges on both sides of the ocean.

Govt to allow SET to grow based on fundamental, says deputy premier
BANGKOK, Oct 3 (TNA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Pridiyathorn Devakula on Thursday reiterated the government would not intervene in stock trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, saying it would allow the bourse to grow based on the country’s economic fundamental.
