Investment advisory company and CEO accused of fraud by SEC

The Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday charged EGM Capital, a former San Francisco investment adviser, and its chief executive officer, Michael T. Jackson, with fraud for charging hedge fund clients in November 2000 with the cost of the firm’s $400,000 stock trading error.
