Thomson Profit Jumps on Unit Sale; Reuters Posts Higher Revenue
Oct. 25 (Bloomberg) — Thomson Corp., the financial-data provider buying Reuters Group Plc, said quarterly profit jumped on proceeds from the sale of education divisions. Reuters posted higher sales on increased currency and stock trading.
