South Korean Presidential Candidate Lee Is Cleared
Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Lee Myung Bak, the front runner for this month's South Korean presidential election, was cleared by prosecutors today of allegations that he was involved in a former business partner's alleged stock-price manipulation. According to the report, a senior LSE official presented the plan during a visit to the TSE last month. The newspaper said that in addition to the mutual ETF listings, the proposal calls for the exchanges to jointly develop a stock-trading system and craft an initiative to energize start-up markets.
