New Zealand shares close at new 3-year low
WELLINGTON (Thomson Financial) - New Zealand shares fell 0.4 percent to a fresh three-year low in light trading on Wednesday, dealers said. The NZX-50 gross index fell 11.89 points to close at 3,163.39, its lowest level since June 2005, on turnover worth NZ$74 million ($56.2 million).
