Lehman Brothers: investment bank sees lower profit
NEW YORK (AP) - One of Wall Street's own is reporting stronger-than-expected earnings. Lehman Brothers Holdings, the fourth-largest U.S. investment bank, says stock trading and investment banking fees drove fiscal fourth-quarter results.
The Securities and Exchange Commission filed fraud charges today against a former portfolio manager for a Connecticut-based investment firm, claiming he failed to report about 3,500 in personal stock trades.
