Chinese Shares Hit New Record High
Chinese stocks rose to a fresh record high Tuesday as investors crowded into the market, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closing above 4,300 for the first time ever.
S.E.C. Expands Best-Price Rule on Stock Trading
A divided Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday approved new rules on how stocks are traded that will keep brokers from sending trades to markets that are not offering the best prices available.
