Energy sector, M&A boost Europe before ECB decision

Most Asian markets dropped Thursday after strong gains in recent sessions. Japanese stocks declined after briefly touching a 6 1/2-year high, while Chinese stocks tumbled 4 percent in its biggest one-day decline in more than six months.
