Civil fraud charge eyed for Fidelity
Federal securities regulators are considering a civil fraud charge against Fidelity Investments for its alleged negligence involving the company's stock trader gift scandal, according to an official who has been briefed on the investigation.

LaBranche Down After Forecasting 2Q Loss
LaBranche & Co. stock fell Friday after the large stock-trading company forecast a net loss for the second quarter. Shares of LaBranche fell $2.47, or 20 percent, to $9.97 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
