Rakuten sues TBS over stock trading records
TOKYO — A Rakuten Inc subsidiary filed Friday a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against Tokyo Broadcasting System Inc, demanding that the broadcaster, with which Rakuten is at daggers drawn over tie-up negotiations, disclose details of its stock trading records.

NEW YORK, July 23 (Reuters) - U.S. stock indexes rose on Monday as deal news and pharmaceutical sector profits renewed optimism about the equities market after Friday's sell-off.

Taipei, Dec. 12 (CNA) Sophie Yeh, the former chairperson of Procomp Informatics Ltd., was found guilty of violating the Stock Trading Law and embezzlement and sentenced to a total of 14 years in jail plus a fine of NT$180 million by the Shihlin District Court in Taipei Monday.
